ACH is the standard way to move money from your Peanut balance to a US bank account. The withdrawal is free, there is no minimum amount, and funds typically arrive within 1 to 3 business days. Your digital dollars are converted to USD and deposited directly into your checking or savings account.
Before You Start
Info
- A verified Peanut account. Bank withdrawals require identity verification. You will need a passport or national ID card (US users can also use a driver's license). The verification process takes under 2 minutes for most users. See the verification guide for details.
- A US bank account. ACH withdrawals are available only to bank accounts in the United States.
- Your routing number and account number. You will need both to set up the withdrawal. Double-check these numbers carefully — incorrect details are the most common cause of failed transfers.
- Name match. The name on your bank account must match the name on your Peanut account. Third-party withdrawals are not supported.
You can save multiple bank accounts in the app. Once you have added a bank account, it will be available for future withdrawals without re-entering the details.

Peanut charges no fees for ACH withdrawals. There is no minimum or maximum withdrawal amount per transaction. Transactions above $100,000 may trigger a manual review for additional verification, but there is no hard limit.
Your bank may have its own policies regarding incoming ACH transfers, but most US banks accept ACH credits at no cost. Check with your bank if you are unsure.
For the complete fee schedule, see the pricing page.
Processing Time
- Typical processing time: 1 to 3 business days.
- Business days only: ACH does not process on weekends or US federal holidays (New Year's Day, MLK Day, Presidents' Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Columbus Day, Veterans Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas).
- Best practice: Initiate your withdrawal early in the day on a weekday for the fastest processing.
- Why it takes 1-3 days: ACH transfers go through the Federal Reserve's Automated Clearing House network, which batches transactions and settles them in cycles. This is a standard banking timeline, not a Peanut delay.
If you need funds faster, consider withdrawing to a wallet instead. Wallet withdrawals on networks like Solana or Arbitrum arrive in seconds to minutes.
What if My Withdrawal is Delayed?
If your ACH withdrawal has not arrived after 3 business days:
- Verify that you entered the correct routing and account numbers.
- Check with your bank to see if the transfer is pending on their end.
- Make sure the name on your bank account matches your Peanut account exactly.
If a withdrawal fails — for example, due to incorrect bank details — your Peanut balance is automatically re-credited within approximately 1 day. You cannot cancel a pending withdrawal once confirmed.
