Do I Need an Invite to Join Peanut?
No. Peanut signup is open to everyone in the Peanut app for iOS and Android, so you can create an account without an invite code or a waitlist. New accounts are created in the app, not on the website. Referral links identify who invited you for rewards; they do not control access.
What Happens When a Friend Invites Me?
Open the referral link your friend shared, get the Peanut app, and sign up there. Peanut keeps the inviter attached to that signup and records the referral after you authenticate. You do not need to type your friend's username on a separate screen.
If you sign up directly, your account still gets normal app access. The only difference is that no inviter is attached for referral rewards.
Referral Rewards
Joining through a friend's referral link does not guarantee a reward. Peanut may show rewards as surprises as you use the app. Check Rewards for the current details and any next action shown on your account.
