Before You Start
Info
Make sure you have the following before initiating a Solana deposit:
-
A Peanut account. No identity verification required for deposits. You can deposit immediately after creating your account. KYC is only needed for fiat operations like bank transfers or QR payments.
-
USDC or USDT on the Solana network. These must be SPL tokens on Solana, not ERC-20 tokens on Ethereum or another network.
-
A Solana wallet or an exchange that supports Solana withdrawals. Most major exchanges (Coinbase, Binance, Kraken) support Solana withdrawals.
Step-by-Step: Deposit from Solana
- 1
Open the Peanut app
Tap "Deposit" from your home screen to reach the deposit options.
- 2
Select Solana
Choose Solana as the network. The app will display your unique Solana deposit address (Base58 format, different from the 0x format used by EVM networks).
- 3
Choose your stablecoin
Select USDC or USDT. Both are accepted on Solana.
- 4
Copy the deposit address
Copy the Solana deposit address exactly as shown. This is your personal reusable address — you can use it for every Solana deposit.
- 5
Send from your wallet or exchange
Open your wallet or exchange, select Solana as the network, paste the Peanut deposit address, enter the amount, and confirm the transaction.
- 6
Wait for confirmation
Your balance updates automatically once the transaction confirms on-chain — typically under a minute.
Confirmation Times
Solana deposits are among the fastest across all supported networks:
-
Typical confirmation: under 1 minute. Solana has sub-second block times with rapid finality. Most deposits appear in your Peanut balance within seconds.
-
Maximum expected time: under 5 minutes. In rare cases of network congestion, confirmation may take slightly longer but still well under 5 minutes.
-
Available 24/7/365. No business day restrictions. Deposits arrive instantly on weekends, holidays, and at any hour.
If your deposit does not appear within a few minutes, check the transaction on a Solana block explorer (like Solscan). If the transaction is confirmed on-chain but not in Peanut, contact support with the transaction hash.
Fees
-
Peanut deposit fee: free. Peanut charges nothing for Solana deposits. Gas fees on the Peanut side are covered by Peanut.
-
Sender-side gas fee. You pay the Solana network gas fee when sending, which is typically under $0.01 — a fraction of a cent. Gas is paid in SOL, so you need a tiny amount of SOL in your wallet.
-
Exchange withdrawal fee (if applicable). If withdrawing from an exchange, the exchange may charge its own withdrawal fee. Solana withdrawals are typically cheaper than withdrawals on Ethereum — often free or under $1 depending on the exchange.

Supported Stablecoins on Solana
| Token | What happens on deposit | Networks |
|---|---|---|
| USDC | Credited at market rate (approximately 1:1) | Solana |
| USDT | Auto-converted to USDC at market rate, no fee | Solana |
Both are SPL tokens on Solana. Only send SPL tokens on the Solana network — not ERC-20 tokens on Ethereum or other networks.
Peanut does not accept SOL, wrapped BTC, or any other tokens on Solana. Unsupported tokens sent to the deposit address will not be credited and may not be recoverable.
