No. Crypto deposits and withdrawals do not require identity verification. Verification is only needed for bank transfers and QR payments.

What happens if I sent the wrong token?

Unsupported tokens are not credited to your balance. They remain on-chain at the deposit address. Contact support — some tokens can be recovered depending on the network.

Why does my balance show dollars instead of USDC?

Peanut displays your balance as dollars for simplicity. Your funds are backed by USDC — they are equivalent.

Supported Tokens and Networks

Peanut accepts three stablecoins across seven networks:

Unsupported tokens (BTC, ETH, SOL, etc.) sent to your deposit address will not be credited. Contact support if you sent the wrong token — some can be recovered depending on the network.

Copy your deposit address
Your deposit address is shown on screen. EVM networks (Arbitrum, Base, Avalanche, Polygon, Ethereum) share the same address. Solana and Tron have separate addresses. The address is reusable — it stays the same for every deposit.

Go to your exchange or wallet
Open your exchange (Binance, Coinbase, Kraken, etc.) or personal wallet and start a withdrawal.

Select the correct network
This is critical — the network you select in your exchange must match the network shown in Peanut. Sending on the wrong network can result in lost funds.

Paste the address and send
Paste your Peanut deposit address, enter the amount, and confirm. There is no minimum deposit amount.

Wait for confirmation
Most deposits arrive in 1-3 minutes. Ethereum can take up to 10 minutes during congestion. Your balance updates automatically once the transaction confirms.

Important

Always double-check the network before sending. If you send USDC on Ethereum but selected Solana in Peanut, the funds will not arrive. Copy the deposit address directly from the app — do not type it manually.

Tip

For the fastest deposits, use Solana or Arbitrum — both confirm in under 2 minutes with very low sender-side fees. Ethereum is the slowest and most expensive option for senders.
