Deposit via wire transfer
Add money from your bank in USD or EUR. Use the current instructions in Peanut and receive a digital-dollar balance.
A one-off bank top-up lets you add money from your own account. Use the reference from Peanut to match the payment to your balance.
Before you send
- The one-off top-up minimum is 1 USD / 1 EUR. Follow the minimum displayed in the app.
- Use the current bank details and exact reference from Peanut. The reference matches the payment; the amount can differ, and what arrives is credited.
- Send from a bank account in your own name. To receive a client payment, use account details instead, as explained below.
Add money by wire transfer
- 1
Open a bank deposit
In Peanut, open Deposit and choose bank transfer. Select USD or EUR and the available method.
- 2
Copy the instructions
Copy every beneficiary, bank and reference field shown for this wire. Use only the currency and wire instructions offered in Peanut.
- 3
Send from your bank
Enter the details in your bank app. Check the reference, amount and any bank charges, then confirm. Keep the receipt.
- 4
Check your balance
Wait for bank processing and Peanut balance credit. A completed bank transfer and credited balance are separate stages.
Cost and timing
A USD wire reaches digital dollars without currency conversion or a Peanut deposit fee. A EUR wire includes conversion costs in the rate. Sending and intermediary banks may deduct fees.
Domestic US wires usually arrive the same business day. International wires can take 1–5 business days. These are estimates, not deadlines.
Good to know
Bank deposits require identity verification and account checks. Access depends on verified residence; having bank details does not establish access. If the app says “not available where you live,” check the bank deposit guide.
For a client or employer payment, use the USD account guide. Reusable account details have different payer rules from a one-off top-up.
If a deposit is missing, keep the receipt and follow the deposit help guide.
