Can I Get a Refund?
Refund rules depend on the payment route. Completed QR and on-chain transfers are final. Failed payments need settlement review, and merchant card refunds are separate card-network transactions. Do not use an app error alone to assume that money returned.
QR Payments
A completed Mercado Pago or Pix QR payment cannot be reversed by Peanut or initiated as a QR refund by the merchant. If the merchant says a payment failed, collect the app confirmation and merchant receipt. Support must confirm settlement before stating that a refund is due or when it will arrive.
On-Chain Transfers and Peanut Links
A completed on-chain transfer is final. Check the address, currency, and network before confirming.
An unclaimed Peanut Link can be reclaimed by its creator. After someone claims it, the transfer is complete and cannot be reversed by Peanut.
Bank Transfers
A failed or cancelled bank transfer requires review of the route and originating account. The status does not guarantee that funds have returned. Keep the transfer reference and a readable bank receipt, then contact support if the money is missing. Do not rely on a fixed re-credit timeline.
Peanut Card Refunds
Once you're verified in the app, you can get your Peanut Card at peanut.me/shhhhh. Merchant card refunds are separate card-network transactions, not cancellations of the original purchase. A cross-currency purchase and refund can convert separately, so their dollar amounts can differ. Contact support about a specific pending or disputed refund; do not infer settlement from the display status alone.
