How Do I Send Money with a Peanut Link?

A Peanut Link is a link or QR code that contains money. Create one from your balance, share it with anyone via message, email, or print, and the recipient claims it — no app required on their end. Links are free to create, free to claim, never expire, and have no amount limits.

Create and Share a Peanut Link

  1. 1

Open the app and tap Send

Select Create Link to start building your payment link.

  2. 2

    Enter the amount

The amount is charged from your Peanut balance. There is no minimum or maximum.

  3. 3

    Confirm and generate

Peanut generates a unique link and QR code. Both work the same way — the link is for sharing digitally, the QR is for in-person.

  4. 4

    Share the link or QR

Send via any channel — text message, email, WhatsApp, social media, or print the QR code. The recipient does not need a Peanut account.

How the Recipient Claims

With a Peanut account: The recipient opens the link, logs in, and claims the funds directly to their balance. The transfer is instant.

Without a Peanut account: The recipient opens the link, selects "Claim to bank account," and enters their bank details:

  • SEPA — enters IBAN, receives EUR. Arrives in under 20 minutes for 90% of transfers.
  • ACH — enters routing + account number, receives USD. Arrives in 1-3 business days.

No app, no account, and no verification required for the recipient (as long as you, the creator, are verified).

Verification Rules

One side of the transaction must be verified — either you or the recipient. If you are verified, the recipient can claim without any verification, even to their bank. If you are not verified, the recipient must be verified to claim.

Reclaiming Funds

You can reclaim unclaimed funds at any time. If the recipient has not claimed the link yet, open the link from your account and select Reclaim. The funds return to your Peanut balance instantly.

Info

Peanut Links are all-or-nothing — one person claims the full amount. If you need to collect money from multiple people, use a Peanut Request instead.
