GCash support in Peanut is planned

GCash is not available through Peanut yet. There is no published launch date.

Peanut lists GCash as a planned integration. You cannot currently use your Peanut balance to pay through this service. This guide explains the method and separates its existing features from what is available in Peanut.

What is GCash?

GCash is a mobile wallet in the Philippines used for person-to-person transfers, bill payments and shopping. It participates in QR Ph, the country’s interoperable QR payment standard.

These are features of GCash itself. They do not establish which features, recipients or merchants a future Peanut integration would support.

What Peanut offers today

You can use supported digital-dollar deposit and withdrawal routes in Peanut. Bank-transfer availability depends on your verified residence and account eligibility. Check the options shown in the app before moving money.

For travel, Peanut currently supports Mercado Pago merchant QR payments in Argentina and Pix payments in Brazil. Each payment still requires a supported code or destination and the relevant verification. Review the current fees and exchange quote for the route you choose.

Requirements and costs

Peanut has not published the requirements, transaction limits or pricing for a GCash integration. The existing service's fees and account rules do not establish the terms of a future Peanut connection. A Peanut account gives you access to current features according to your eligibility.
