MB WAY support in Peanut is planned
MB WAY is not available through Peanut yet. There is no published launch date.
Peanut lists MB WAY as a planned integration. You cannot currently use your Peanut balance to pay through this service. This guide explains the method and separates its existing features from what is available in Peanut.
What is MB WAY?
MB WAY is a Portuguese payment service built on the SIBS/Multibanco network. Participating apps support transfers between people, merchant QR payments and online checkout using a phone number.
These are features of MB WAY itself. They do not establish which features, recipients or merchants a future Peanut integration would support.
What Peanut offers today
You can use supported digital-dollar deposit and withdrawal routes in Peanut. Bank-transfer availability depends on your verified residence and account eligibility. Check the options shown in the app before moving money.
Eligible verified users can already use EUR bank transfers through SEPA. That bank route is separate from the planned local-payment integration.
For travel, Peanut currently supports Mercado Pago merchant QR payments in Argentina and Pix payments in Brazil. Each payment still requires a supported code or destination and the relevant verification. Review the current fees and exchange quote for the route you choose.
Requirements and costs
Peanut has not published the requirements, transaction limits or pricing for an MB WAY integration. The existing service's fees and account rules do not establish the terms of a future Peanut connection. A Peanut account gives you access to current features according to your eligibility.
