What Does Peanut Support in Peru Today?

Peanut does not support local Yape payments in Peru today. Yape is planned, and no launch date has been announced.

Peru has current Peanut deposit and withdrawal options, but those capabilities are separate from local spending. This page keeps that boundary explicit.

Current Peanut Availability in Peru

Peanut currently supports digital-dollar deposits and withdrawals through supported networks in Peru. A Peruvian bank-transfer rail is not currently listed.

That support does not mean Peanut can pay a Peruvian merchant through Yape, deliver soles to an arbitrary bank account, or send to a Yape user. None of those local-payment capabilities is available today.

Native Yape in Peru

Yape is a major Peruvian mobile payment app. Its native service supports payments by mobile number, business QR payments, and supported online purchases. Native account options have different document and banking requirements.

Planned Local Spending

Peanut lists Yape as planned. No product flow, requirements, supported QR format, pricing, or release date has been announced. Until that changes, the current Peru capability remains supported-network deposits and withdrawals only.
