Use One Balance for QR Payments Across Borders

Move between Argentina and Brazil with one balance and route-specific local QR payments.

Moving between Argentina and Brazil means switching currencies and payment systems. A foreign card may add an issuer fee, and cash creates another exchange. Peanut lets a verified traveler fund one balance and use supported QR flows in each country.

Match the QR flow to the country

Peanut shows the local amount and current all-in quote before confirmation. Passport-based verification can unlock supported merchant QR payments without opening a local bank account for that payment flow.

Argentina: Mercado Pago merchant QR

Scan a compatible Mercado Pago merchant QR, check the merchant and ARS amount, then review the quote. Skip foreign card transaction fees by paying by QR with Peanut; card fees and exchange rates vary.

Brazil: Pix merchant QR

Scan a compatible Pix merchant QR, verify the merchant or recipient and BRL amount, and confirm. A Pix-key payment to another person is a separate supported flow. Local BRL withdrawals are available only to eligible Brazilian residents with CPF and must go to their own account.

Local bank deposits and withdrawals remain separate: Argentina requires residence, a local tax ID, and an eligible own account; Brazil requires residence, CPF, and an eligible own account.

Keep the balance ready

Use the funding route available to your verified account. SEPA starts at €1, ACH and USD wire at $1, and Faster Payments at £3. Digital-dollar deposit minimums are displayed with the deposit address. External senders may charge their own fees, and currency conversion is included in Peanut’s quote.

Review the pricing guide before funding and the current quote again before each payment.
