How to withdraw contractor earnings from Deel
To receive contractor earnings from Deel, add a withdrawal method and move money once the client's payment is available in your balance. A USD transfer to a US bank can still be a cross-border withdrawal. For US ACH and all SWIFT transfers, Deel does not permit third-party private or business accounts.
Before you start
Complete Deel's required verification and check that the money is available to withdraw. An invoice or expected payment is not an available balance.
Prepare the receiving account's full holder name and registered billing address. Keep your actual residence in your profile and use the bank's actual country. Available methods and currencies depend on your location; check Deel's supported methods.
If your account uses pooled collection details, ask the institution about ownership before adding it. Deel may require its For Further Credit (FFC) process. This is not the classification of every digital account, and a valid routing number alone does not establish acceptance.
Add a bank account and move your Deel balance
- 1
Open your withdrawal methods
Go to Finance → Withdrawal methods → Add Method. Select Bank transfer and the required bank country and currency.
- 2
Enter the account details
Use the full name and billing address registered to the receiving account. Check the bank details against the account's own instructions.
- 3
Complete any ownership review
For a qualifying FFC account, select For Further Credit under Account Ownership. Upload the required statement or institution letter and wait for review before relying on the method.
- 4
Select available money
Once the client payment is available, open the Balance card and select Move money. Enter the amount and choose your saved destination.
- 5
Review and confirm
Read the fee, amount to be received and estimated arrival shown for this transfer. Confirm when the details are correct and keep the withdrawal record.
These steps follow Deel's contractor withdrawal guide.
For FFC review, the document must show the holder name, account number and institution, with an issue date within three months. It must establish credit to your name or an eligible legal-entity name. Deel estimates review within 24 hours and charges no extra FFC fee. Individual and company profiles have different ownership options; consult the FFC requirements before selecting one.
Fees and arrival
Deel's published fees, checked October 27, 2026, are paid by the withdrawing contractor:
| Method | Published fee |
|---|---|
| Local bank transfer | $0 from Deel; provider charges may apply; $10 minimum |
| Same-currency cross-border withdrawal | $5, included in the provider fee and deducted |
| SWIFT | $5–$10, plus possible intermediary charges; $100 minimum |
Deel explicitly treats an Argentina resident's USD withdrawal to a US bank as cross-border. Check the selected method's quote rather than assuming a US bank means a free local transfer. See fees and minimums.
Client payment, balance availability and bank transit are separate stages. Deel calculates an arrival estimate for each withdrawal; reviews, holidays and receiving-bank processing can change it. Follow the transfer tracker and timing guidance.
Considering Peanut for your earnings
The USD account guide and payer rules explain Peanut's receiving options. Access requires identity verification and residence eligibility; an allowed payer does not establish Deel's acceptance of the account.
The Deel-to-Peanut route is not confirmed. Before requesting a payment, ask Peanut support about the exact account ownership and any proof Deel needs. We have not confirmed an accepted FFC document for this route. See the income guide for general receiving information.
If the transfer is late or rejected
If earnings are unavailable, check the client payment first. If the displayed transfer estimate has passed, verify the destination and download the withdrawal statement. An eligible USD bank withdrawal may include an ACH Trace ID for the receiving bank; SWIFT uses different tracking details.
Contact Deel about the outgoing payment and the receiving provider about locating a sent transfer. Share the amount, currency, date, status and reference privately. Incorrect or closed-account details can cause returns; do not assume changing a saved method repairs the original transfer. For a missing account credit, use deposit troubleshooting.
FAQ.
Can I automatically withdraw future earnings?
Deel supports automatic withdrawals that allocate percentages to saved methods. Any remaining portion can stay in your Deel balance.
Can I use another person's bank account?
Not for US ACH or SWIFT withdrawals. A qualifying FFC arrangement needs its own ownership evidence; it is not permission to use someone else's personal account.
Does a completed withdrawal mean my bank has credited it?
Not necessarily. Receiving-bank processing can continue after Deel marks a transfer completed. Use the transfer record and its tracking reference to investigate.
