Receive from Ontop

To receive Ontop earnings in your bank, transfer an available balance to an account you own. The receiving currency and transfer options depend on your destination and profile. For a Payroll Account, Ontop restricts transfers to other people's US accounts and companies operating in the US; this guide follows the own-account route.

Before you start

Confirm that the employer's payment is available in Ontop. Have your account holder name, identification number, bank account number, address and receiving currency ready. Use the receiving institution's instructions for any additional bank identifiers.

The destination country is where the bank account is located. It does not change your residence. If the beneficiary name or ownership is unclear, ask Ontop to check it before adding the account. Its US transfer policy distinguishes Payroll Accounts from Personal Accounts, so check which you have.

Set up your Ontop bank transfer

  1. 1

    Open Send Money

In Ontop, select Send Money, then My account to send to an account you own.

  2. 2

    Add the bank account

Select Add account, choose the bank's country and select Bank transfer. Use the bank location even if you live elsewhere.

  3. 3

    Enter the receiving details

Supply the requested holder, identification, account, address and currency details. Copy identifiers for the offered transfer method; ACH and wire details are not automatically interchangeable.

  4. 4

    Allow for account verification

A new recipient account may need approval. Ontop estimates 1–2 hours, sometimes up to 24 hours. Adding the details is separate from sending money.

  5. 5

    Review and confirm the transfer

When the account is ready and funds are available, enter the amount. Check the destination, receiving currency, fee and exchange rate before confirming. Keep the receipt from transaction history.

These steps follow Ontop's bank-transfer instructions, checked October 27, 2026.

Ontop fees and arrival times

Use the quote shown for your profile and destination. Ontop's country guide says available methods vary by worker location. A price in its US section does not establish what a worker in Latin America pays to transfer to a US account. Worker transfer costs are also separate from the employer's funding charges.

Plan for three phases: the employer's money becoming available, approval of a new receiving account, and the bank transfer. The general transfer guide estimates 1–3 business days for local-currency transfers and 1–5 for international USD transfers. Those estimates are not a promise for every destination or a total starting from payday. Check the specific estimate before sending.

Considering Peanut for your earnings

The Ontop-to-Peanut route is not confirmed. Read the general USD account guide and who can pay into an account. Account access depends on verification, residence and approval; payer eligibility is a separate check. Neither establishes that Ontop accepts the receiving details. Ask support to check the exact account and platform requirements before arranging a payment.

If the transfer is missing or rejected

If earnings have not reached Ontop, ask the employer about funding. If the receiving account is rejected or pending, contact Ontop about that approval. For a sent transfer, obtain the receipt and ask Ontop for the available transfer reference; the receiving provider can then investigate its arrival.

Share the amount, currency, date, status and reference privately with support. For a transfer expected in Peanut, the missing-deposit guide explains what to collect. A saved account awaiting approval is not a missing bank deposit.

FAQ.

Can I cancel after confirming?

Contact Ontop immediately if the transfer is still in progress or under review. Its guide says a sent transfer cannot be reversed through that cancellation process.

Does a US account make me eligible for US pricing?

No. The account's location alone does not establish your worker location or the terms offered to your profile. Use the final quote.

Where do I get a transfer receipt?

Open transaction history, select the transfer and use its share or download option. Keep the receipt for any investigation.
