Pay a UK bank account with Faster Payments
Use an eligible Peanut account to send pounds directly to a supported UK bank account.
Faster Payments sends pounds to a UK bank account using the recipient’s sort code and account number. In Peanut, this is a direct bank transfer from your digital-dollar balance. The recipient does not need a Peanut account or a Link.
Check the payment method
Use this route when the recipient provides eligible UK bank details and accepts a GBP transfer. Faster Payments is a bank rail, not a merchant QR payment or card transaction. Its broader network features do not mean Peanut offers standing orders, scheduled payments or every business payment type. Check the options shown for your account.
Check your eligibility
Bank access depends on your verified residence and account eligibility. A bank account in the destination country is not enough on its own. New York residents are excluded from the relevant bank routes. Check whether Faster Payments appears in your account before sending.
The recipient account can belong to you or another person. These rules apply to Faster Payments; local ARS and BRL withdrawals have separate own-account and residence requirements.

Cost and timing
Your digital-dollar balance converts to GBP. Conversion costs are included in the all-in quote shown before confirmation; check the amount the bank recipient will receive.
Expected processing is typically under 15 seconds, with service available 24/7. This is an estimate, not a guaranteed arrival time. Bank checks or incorrect recipient information can delay a transfer. Transactions above $100,000 equivalent may require more information.
If the recipient has not received the money
Check the transfer status and compare the bank details with your confirmation. Keep the amount, time and transaction reference, and contact support with the recipient’s evidence if the transfer appears completed but is missing. Do not send again solely to resolve an unclear status; refunds and recovery are case-specific.
