Send money to the US

Send USD directly to a supported bank account. The recipient does not need Peanut.

An eligible, verified Peanut sender can transfer USD from their balance directly to a supported bank account in the US through ACH. Enter the recipient's bank details and review the final quote. The bank recipient does not need a Peanut account or a Peanut Link.

Ask the recipient for an account that accepts USD through ACH. Confirm the account holder’s name and routing number and account number before you enter the transfer.

Check sender eligibility

The sender's verified residence and account determine access to Peanut bank transfers. A bank account in the US does not establish eligibility by itself. New York residents are excluded from the relevant bank onboarding. Check that ACH appears in your own account before you fund a transfer.

Fund your balance through an option shown in Peanut. A sending bank, wallet or exchange may apply charges and processing times. Use the exact instructions for that funding method; do not assume every sender can fund from the same bank rail.

    Check and fund your account

Complete the required verification, check your available bank-transfer options, and fund your Peanut balance.

  2. 2

Enter at least $1. Check the recipient's name, account, currency, amount received and estimated timing.

  5. 5

    Confirm and keep the receipt

Confirm the transfer and save its reference. The recipient checks their bank account for arrival.

Costs and timing

Standard and same-day ACH have no Peanut transfer fee or currency spread. The receiving bank may charge its own fees. The app also offers a wire for USD withdrawals, at $20 flat (minimum $21), taken from the amount sent.

Expected timing: 1–3 business days for standard ACH, the same business day for same-day ACH. Bank checks or inaccurate information can cause delays. This estimate excludes funding your Peanut balance and is not an arrival guarantee. Transfers above $100,000 equivalent may require additional information. See pricing and the ACH transfer guide for route details.

Send digital dollars with a Link

If the recipient wants a Peanut balance instead, create and fund a Peanut Link, then share it privately. The recipient opens it and claims the digital dollars; they do not need an existing account before opening the Link. One side must complete identity verification.

Creating a Link and claiming into Peanut have no Peanut fee. An in-Peanut claim can be instant once funded. External funding, eligible bank claims and later wallet withdrawals have separate costs and timing. A Link does not make an ineligible bank route available. Read the Link guide before choosing this alternative.

FAQ

Does the recipient need Peanut?

Not for the direct ACH bank transfer. They provide a supported account; the sender uses an eligible verified Peanut account.

What currency reaches the bank?

This route sends USD. Confirm that the recipient's bank account accepts it and ask the bank about any receiving or conversion charges.

Is the whole transfer free?

Standard and same-day ACH have no Peanut transfer fee or currency spread. A wire costs $20 flat. The receiving bank may charge its own fees. Funding your Peanut balance can also involve sender-side charges.

Can I use a Peanut Link instead?

Yes, you can fund and share a Link for the recipient to claim digital dollars into Peanut. One side verifies. This is separate from the direct bank transfer described above.

What if the bank payment is missing?

Keep the transaction reference, amount, time and recipient details. Check the status and contact support with the recipient's evidence; a completed app status alone is not proof of bank receipt.
