Before You Start

Make sure you have the following before initiating an Avalanche deposit:

• A Peanut account. No identity verification required for deposits. You can deposit immediately after creating your account.

• USDC or USDT on the Avalanche C-Chain. These must be on Avalanche, not Ethereum mainnet or another chain.

• A wallet or exchange that supports Avalanche withdrawals. Many major exchanges (Binance, Coinbase, Kraken) support Avalanche C-Chain withdrawals.

Step-by-Step: Deposit from Avalanche

   Open the Peanut app

   Tap "Deposit" from your home screen to reach the deposit options.

   Select Avalanche

   Choose Avalanche as the network. The app displays your EVM deposit address (0x format) — this is the same address used across Avalanche, Arbitrum, Base, Polygon, and Ethereum.

   Choose your stablecoin

   Select USDC or USDT. Both are accepted on Avalanche.

   Copy the deposit address

   Copy the deposit address exactly as shown. This is your personal reusable address.

   Send from your wallet or exchange

   Open your wallet or exchange, select "Avalanche" or "AVAX C-Chain" as the network, paste the Peanut deposit address, enter the amount, and confirm the transaction.

   Wait for confirmation

   Your balance updates automatically once the transaction confirms on-chain — typically under 5 minutes.

• Typical confirmation: 1-5 minutes. Avalanche achieves sub-second finality on the C-Chain. Most deposits appear in your Peanut balance within a few minutes.

• Available 24/7/365. No business day restrictions. Deposits arrive any time of day, on weekends and holidays.

If your deposit does not appear within a few minutes, check the transaction on Snowtrace or the Avalanche Explorer. If confirmed on-chain but not in Peanut, contact support with the transaction hash.

Fees

• Peanut deposit fee: free. No fees from Peanut. Gas fees on the Peanut side are covered by Peanut.

• Sender-side gas fee. You pay the Avalanche C-Chain gas fee when sending — typically under $0.05 per transaction. Gas is paid in AVAX.

• Exchange withdrawal fee (if applicable). Exchanges may charge their own withdrawal fee for Avalanche. This varies by exchange and is typically moderate.

Supported Stablecoins on Avalanche

Both are ERC-20 compatible tokens on the Avalanche C-Chain. Only send tokens on the Avalanche C-Chain — not Ethereum mainnet or another network.

Peanut does not accept AVAX, wrapped BTC, or any other tokens on Avalanche. Unsupported tokens sent to the deposit address will not be credited and may not be recoverable.
